Litany of poor train service performance is unacceptable

As a Rail User Group, we have exercised considerable patience over the past four years in response to West Midlands Trains Ltd plans and promises to address the shortfall in train crew resources. Regrettably, we feel our tolerance has been misplaced given the persistent and unacceptable level of unreliability faced by passengers, many who rely on the train as they have no other means of transport.

In clear and direct terms, we have written to the Managing Director of West Midlands Trains stating that passengers are not prepared to tolerate such poor performance any longer and require it to be addressed with rigour.
