    What Rail Users and Stratford Town Centre Businesses told us…

    The Shakespeare Line Promotion Group (SLPG) carried out two online surveys in February and March 2018 to identify what the key issues for train users and businesses were and to enable SLPG to set its new Aims and Objectives as the Rail User Group for train services between Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham together and Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa/London.

    Secretary of State asked to call in planning applications

    A RAIL USER GROUP that speaks up for train passengers and communities along its route between Stratford upon Avon, Birmingham and Leamington Spa has asked James Brokenshire MP, Secretary of State for Housing, Communities & Local Government to call in planning applications proposing the development of a 3,100 home Garden Village and associated Relief Road to the south west of Stratford upon Avon.

    Vale & Cotswolds could get closer to Birmingham

    DIRECT train services that could connect Evesham, Honeybourne, Moreton in Marsh and the Cotswolds and shrink the journey time to and from Birmingham and the West Midlands may be moving a step closer.
